Trying To Install Ableton Live 10 But Mac Won't Update
- May 21, 2019 Ok! I figured out part of the cause of the 'This version of Mac OS X is not supported on this platform' message. The scrap 840 EVO Drive I was going to install High Sierra onto also has a separate High Sierra partition from my real Mac Pro. Can't install HS onto that disk, guessing because of an EFI check happening on that disk.
- Change web-browser (we recommend Chrome or Firefox), and login to your Ableton.com account; Re-download the latest setup file for your version of Live, from your account. Once downloaded, use 7-zip to extract the files to a safe, known location; Step 2: Update. Using Windows Update, make sure that all available updates are installed.

I been thinking it's due to either: 1. One of my own mfl devices i use to interact with my controllers. 2.something to do with my Jbridge 32 to 64 bit plugins 3.t-racks deluxe suite plugins, or 4. Download, Install, or Update the best Mac apps - MacUpdate.

Need help with setting up or other technical issues?
Hoping someone has some advice. I'm getting the following message in a dialogue box, that causes the Ableton splash screen to hang after just trying to create the First opening live set:'A serious program error has occurred.
Live will shut down after this message box is closed.
Please restart live and follow the instructions in the report a crash lesson that will appear in Live's help view.'
After closing down the dialogue box and trying to start Ableton again, the same thing repeatedly happens.
I've also tried restarting the machine and same again.
