| Historically there have been issues using Izotope RX with Studio One in terms of full compatability and ease of use. Looking at the Izotope website it lists Studio One v3 & 4 as being a 'supported host' for RX7 - can anyone confirm that RX7 now works seamlessly with S1v4 without convoluted routing or having to resort to standalone modes? I've checked on YouTube for recent tutorials to confirm workflow support within S1v4 but can find nothing concrete. Regards.. Windows 10 Pro/i7 6800k @3.4Ghz/16Gb ram. I'm assuming the OP wants to link S1 to the RX7 UI. There's a way to do that using a tiny 'relay' type insert so the two independent apps are connected (like an ARA thing I imagine). You can then take an event in S1, parse it out to RX for treatment and then bring it back in. So you don't need to quit S1, run RX, process/save the file and then re-import to S1. In theory. It works with PT but I couldn't get it to work in that way with S1. All that said, I don't have a use case for it right now, just my engineer head thought it would be interesting to try! | Yes - expecting an ARA type experience, without resorting to standalone but alas it seems that RX still doesn't want to play nicely with S1 despite Izotope's claim that S1 is a 'supported host'. Maybe it's time that Presonus and Izotope spoke to each other and used some joined up thinking. Talking of which, was the 'browser lost thumbnails' issue ever resolved with Izotope plugins? | I've had no problems with RX6 Elements that I got with Soundforge apart from it significantly increases latency, but I just swtch it off when I'm tracking. For my audiobook production I have NR and Mastering over an output buss to clean things up. No issues. |
