Ableton Live For Mac 10.9.5 Update
I have just bought a M-Audio Oxygen 88 (black version 3rd Gen?) and connected to Ableton Live on Mac OS X 10.9.5
All i working fine, but going through the manual, i;d love to do the DirectLink thing adn control Ableton Live 9 (not Live Lite) via the Oxygen 88 transport etc
At the moment I have done this with Ableton MIDI Map for play stop etc but things like Record and Loop buttons mapped don't stay on?
I have the manual but would love to know how to set my Oxygen up for Ableton live Directlink and maybe Reaper?
I just plugged this in via USB and it worked, but do I need the full driver install for directlink? and can i control different DAW's as they are open seperately?
Secondly could someone explain the velocity curves and the Zones?
I have tried the zones, with different channels/VST's in Ableton but this just picks up the MIDI channel I am on? I'm not really understanding how it works?
